Purpose
The "Training Project for the Improvement and Development of the Conformity Assessment Activities Infrastructure" was defined as an important item in the TURKLAB 2014-2015 activity plan by the TURKLAB Board of Directors, which took office following the Ordinary General Assembly on January 23, 2014. In this context, the foundation of TURKLAB Academy was established.
Objective
In line with new developments in conformity assessment activities, the objectives of TURKLAB Academy are as follows:
- To keep members informed about new developments in conformity assessment activities,
- To work towards achieving standardization in the application of accreditation scopes,
- To contribute to the expertise of authorized bodies involved in market surveillance and inspection activities,
- To enhance the capacity of laboratories within industrial organizations, universities, and public institutions to meet the needs of conformity assessment activities and market surveillance and inspection,
- Consequently, to develop and strengthen the quality infrastructure of our country,
- To effectively and economically meet the training needs of members.
