The purpose of the association is to bring together testing and calibration laboratories established under relevant laws and regulations within a single organizational framework and to ensure coordination among its members. Our areas of service are as follows:
a) Organizing and participating in initiatives that support the technical and commercial development of member laboratories.
b) Providing support and participation to enhance the development of quality management and assurance systems for member laboratories.
c) Monitoring legal, social, and regulatory developments related to the professional rights of member laboratories and working towards their advancement.
d) Providing legal, social, technical, and professional guidance to members, their affiliated organizations, and other relevant entities operating in this field.
e) Representing the sector before regulatory authorities and institutions, expressing organized and structured opinions on new regulations and policies.
f) Assisting in resolving challenges faced by the sector and promoting its development in a lawful, ethical, and efficient manner for the benefit of public interest.
g) Keeping track of political and technical publications, announcements, and regulations that impact the activities of calibration and testing laboratories in Turkey and globally.
h) Conducting awareness-raising activities to emphasize the necessity of testing and calibration in industrial sectors.
i) Facilitating collaboration between relevant organizations and laboratories to accelerate the harmonization and advancement of testing and calibration methods.
j) Organizing training programs and activities to establish the reliability of measurements, enhance traceability and quality assurance, and facilitate the clear and effective implementation of relevant standards for mutual acceptance of testing and calibration results.
k) Exchanging economic, statistical, and technical information with international organizations related to the sector to benefit members and the national economy, participating in similar associations and organizations, and organizing or attending domestic and international travels, symposiums, congresses, conferences, and meetings in accordance with legal provisions.
