TURKLAB Formed Its New Three-Year Board of Directors at the General Assembly

TURKLAB 10th Ordinary General Assembly Held on February 7, 2024

The 10th Ordinary General Assembly of TURKLAB took place on February 7, 2024, at Point Hotel Esentepe - Istanbul, Türkiye, with the participation of its members.

As a valuable event shaping TURKLAB’s future vision, the General Assembly included discussions on key agenda items:

• Presentation and review of the 2022-2023 Activity and Financial Reports
• Approval of proposed amendments to TURKLAB’s bylaws
• Election of new Board of Directors and Audit Committee members for the 2024-2026 term
  
  

The 2022-2023 working period was successfully completed with the support of TURKLAB members and the voluntary efforts of the Board of Directors, following the established Work Plan and programs.

With the approved bylaw amendment, the newly elected Board of Directors for the 2024-2026 period will continue its efforts in line with the Strategic Plan and the 2024 Work Plan. Responsibilities have been assigned to Board Members accordingly.
Key Objectives for the 2024-2026 Term

• Strengthening relationships with industry stakeholders and expanding TURKLAB’s membership portfolio
• Enhancing TURKLAB Academy’s training content, diversity, and accessibility to broader sectoral and geographical audiences
• Positioning TURKLAB as a reference center for members in developing new testing methods
• Supporting members’ transition to green and digital business models through trainings, workshops, and best practice sharing
• Organizing periodic events, including the Conformity Assessment Conference, webinars, and in-person meetings
• Developing collaborations and joint projects with national and international umbrella organizations
• Promoting Türkiye as an international testing hub
• Engaging with public authorities and regulators to address sectoral challenges based on Committee outputs
• Contributing to regulatory developments and supporting members in enhancing international competitiveness
  
  

Celebrating 20 Years of TURKLAB & 10 Years of TURKLAB Academy

In 2024, TURKLAB celebrates its 20th anniversary, marking two decades of contributions as an information center for members and industry stakeholders. Additionally, TURKLAB Academy celebrates its 10th anniversary, further strengthening its role in sectoral education and training.

The Board of Directors has already begun executing its work plan, ensuring continued value for members and the industry.
