On February 20, 2020, the Consumer Products Laboratories Committee meeting was held with the participation of Azolab, Intertek, SGS, Kazlıçeşme, Koach, Nanolab, UL VS, Tüv Rheinland, and Taha Tekstil laboratories. During the meeting, information was first provided about the recently held Board of Directors election, and the details of the Board members, Committees, and their presidents were shared. The notes and actions from the previous meeting were evaluated. Members were informed about the visit to the Consumer Union Federation. Additionally, actions were decided on the following topics, and responsible parties and action dates were determined:
Providing feedback on the implementation of the EN 16711-3 Lead Release Test at the request of the Ministry.
Discussing and making a joint decision regarding the price increase for tests related to Consumer Products.
Identifying the laboratories that wish to become members of the TURKLAB Calibration Committee.
Providing feedback on the use of the "TURKLAB member" logo on their websites.
Following the TURKLAB LinkedIn account by all members.
Sending suggestions regarding laboratories that may have the potential to participate in the Consumer Products Laboratories Committee.
Collecting suggestions for adding new trainings to TURKLAB Academy's programs.
