Calibration Committee Meeting October 23, 2014

TURKLAB Calibration Committee held its second meeting of the year on October 23, 2014, as guests of Simkal Calibration Laboratory at a meeting room allocated in Siemens Istanbul Kartal factory. During the meeting, which filled the entire afternoon of Thursday, October 23, topics discussed in the previous meeting were reviewed, progress made was evaluated, updates on the revision of the ISO 17025 standard were shared, and a document containing the problems faced by calibration laboratories with TÜRKAK and proposed solutions was decided to be prepared and submitted to TÜRKAK. Plans for upcoming visits to public institutions were discussed, and two instructions from the VDI/VDE/DGQ 2618 series were selected for translation into Turkish. Responsibilities for the tasks to be completed were assigned.
