Calibration Committee Meeting
Our committee meeting was held on August 22, 2022, via Zoom, with the participation of Mr. Fatih EĞİLMEZ, Head of the Calibration Department at TÜRKAK, and authorized representatives from laboratories that are members of the Calibration Committee.
This was the first meeting for Dr. Metehan ÇALIŞ as the Committee Chair, and it began with an introductory session with the participants. Following this, general information was provided by the previous Chair, Mr. Hikmet TERZİ, and discussions were held regarding potential future roadmaps.
In addition to continuing efforts to receive necessary support from TÜRKAK and TÜBİTAK UME, the topics of seeking international cooperation opportunities in the field of calibration, researching overseas support programs, and supporting the initiation of accredited LAK-YT cycles were also discussed. It was collectively decided that future meetings should be held face-to-face whenever possible, preferably at the calibration centers of the members.
