Calibration Committee Meeting
On August 28, 2023, the TURKLAB Calibration Committee Meeting was held with the participation of committee members.
The meeting focused on TS EN ISO/IEC 17043 LAK-YT accreditation scopes, determining new scopes, and TURKLAB’s role in supporting the announcement of these cycles. Discussions included TAHA Tekstil’s completed accreditation scope and cycle information, as well as collecting requests from members regarding the scopes they wish to include in their accreditation. The committee also evaluated the association’s role in meeting an essential national need in this area.
Due to personnel turnover, it was decided to organize free webinars and awareness training sessions for TURKLAB members in the field of Metrology and Calibration. As a first step, webinars will be conducted on the topics of "General Metrology and Calibration" and "Reading and Evaluating Calibration Certificates."
