The Consumer Products Laboratories Committee meeting took place on June 23, 2020, via remote connection with the participation of our member laboratories.
During the meeting, the results of the evaluation meeting held on May 29, 2020, between TÜRKAK and TURKLAB were shared with the members.
Activities affecting laboratories during the pandemic and the paths to be followed were discussed. The Remote Audit Procedure published by TÜRKAK, the Management Procedure for Extraordinary Situations Affecting Accredited Institutions, the COVID-19 Precautions Guide for On-site Audits, and the risk assessment activities to be conducted by UDKs during this process were evaluated.
Recent activities and plans of TURKLAB were discussed. Additionally, information was provided regarding TURKLAB's interviews and technical seminar programs, and discussions were held to improve these programs.
