First Meeting of the Consumer Products Laboratories Committee in 2024
On April 5, 2024, the Consumer Products Laboratories Committee held its first meeting of the year via Zoom, with the participation of its members and the newly elected committee leadership.
Meeting Highlights:
The meeting began with introductions from the new leadership team and first-time attendees.
Committee Chair Timur Karadağ read the agenda, allowing members to suggest additions or modifications.
Discussions were held on updating the 2024 Ministry of Trade analysis fees, and a roadmap was established.
The formation of technical committees was evaluated, and instead of establishing permanent committees, it was decided to create dynamic working groups on a need basis.
A decision was made to visit the Ministry of Trade and propose collaboration on technical details of the new stationery regulation.
TURKLAB Board Member Neslihan Sözer emphasized the importance of completing TURKLAB surveys and encouraged members to participate in and contribute to TURKLAB Academy trainings.
Information was shared about the Conformity Assessment Congress, and support was requested for securing sponsorships.
A decision was made to update the committee's member list and work towards expanding and diversifying the committee's membership profile.
