Ongoing Collaboration Between TURKLAB and TÜBİTAK UME on Domestic CRM Development
Meetings regarding the development of domestic and national Certified Reference Materials (CRM) and the localization of certain CRMs, conducted in collaboration between TURKLAB and TÜBİTAK UME, continue in 2024.
Based on the 2023 CRM needs survey results, a prioritized CRM list was created, and the working group identified the most beneficial CRMs to focus on.
During the 8th CRM Working Group Meeting on March 26, 2024, the subgroups for Pesticide CRMs, one of the highest-cost CRMs, were identified, and it was decided to complete the preliminary feasibility studies through a general work breakdown structure.
By the end of 2024, the working group aims to submit a report to the Association's Board, outlining the roadmap and scenarios for the development of domestic and national CRMs.
