“Radiation Awareness Training” Webinar Held
We successfully held our webinar on “Radiation Awareness Training” on 24 September 2026, with strong participation.
During the event, we covered topics including radiation sources encountered in daily life, the differences between ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, common misconceptions about radiation, the basic principles of exposure and protection, occupational safety, personal dose monitoring, and the use of dosimeters.
Moderated by Ms. Hande Çiftçi, Chair of the TURKLAB Radiation Metrology and Safety Committee, the event featured Ms. Sema Görmez, Testing Officer at RADAT Dosimetry Laboratory Services Inc., and Mr. Berkay Akoğul, Laboratory Technical Manager. They shared their knowledge and experience with the participants and answered their questions.
