The EUROLAB General Assembly Was Held with Broad Participation of Members

The EUROLAB General Assembly 2025 was held on April 28–29, 2025, in Copenhagen, hosted by EUROLAB-Denmark. On behalf of TURKLAB, Vice President Ms. Ayfer Adıgüzel attended the meeting as a representative.

The EUROLAB General Assembly convened on April 29, which also marked the celebration of EUROLAB’s 35th anniversary, and important decisions were made for the upcoming term. An evolutionary strategy document, which includes significant reforms and embraces all stakeholders of the conformity assessment sector, was adopted. A new board of directors was elected for the next term, and Dr. Andreas Kinzel was elected as the new President of EUROLAB.

During the General Assembly, thanks were extended to former board members Paolo Moscatti (former President), Jean Luc Laurent (former Treasurer), and Dr. Ömer Güzel (former TURKLAB representative) for their efforts and contributions.

As TURKLAB, we have been re-elected to the EUROLAB Board of Directors for the new term as an associated member. This will be a crucial process for closely monitoring legislation, standards, and technical regulations being developed at the EU level in the conformity assessment sector and for taking necessary positions on behalf of our country and sector.
