The TURKLAB Board of Directors Meeting was held on 22 January 2026.
At the TURKLAB Board of Directors meeting, important decisions were taken to strengthen the association’s fields of activity and to further develop its sector-focused initiatives.
During the meeting, it was decided to establish a working group to implement a virtual fair project in order to enable TURKLAB to benefit from public incentives, and to reach a decision on this matter as soon as possible.
It was also decided to discuss with Eurolab the organization of the NMM National Members Meeting, planned by Eurolab for November 2026, to be hosted by TURKLAB in Istanbul, and the simultaneous organization of a technical event by TURKLAB.
Within the scope of TURKLAB Academy, the training fees for 2026 were updated. In order to increase the diversity of training activities, it was decided to request training proposals from committee chairs and to prepare the 2026 training program by the end of June.
It was decided that the Sustainability Committee would organize a webinar on the “Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism and Carbon Footprint” and provide information to the Board of Directors at the next meeting regarding the ongoing work.
Following the briefings by committee chairs on their ongoing activities, the meeting was concluded.
