Training on the Evaluation of Calibration Certificates
On 6 November 2025, a “Training on the Evaluation of Calibration Certificates” was held at the Kale Jet Engine Development and Test Center, lasting approximately eight hours.
During the training, after providing information on Introduction to Metrology, the SI International System of Units, and definitions such as Metrological Traceability, presentations were made on the Guide to Metrological Traceability (TÜRKAK R10.12, ILAC P10), Acceptable Maximum Error, Statement of Conformity and Decision Rule, Calibration, and Evaluation of Calibration Certificates. Examples and practical applications were also shared.
The training concluded with hands-on exercises evaluating sample calibration certificates for various instruments such as balances, reference masses, calipers, thermocouples, micrometers, and dial gauges.
