It was held online on 04 November 2025 with the participation of 43 representatives from non-governmental organizations, private sector organizations, and public institutions.
TÜRKAK Secretary General Ms. Banu Müderrisoğlu stated that TÜRKAK provides accreditation services to 2,300 organizations with 1,800 assessors, together with newly added scopes. She also noted that new accreditation scopes have been added to the service portfolio, including:
Food Safety
Accreditation within the scope of the International Featured Standards (IFS) Program
Carbon Footprint
Water Footprint
Greenhouse Gas Reduction Projects
Accreditation within the scope of PEFC Forest Certification
Business Continuity Management System
TS ISO/IEC 42001 Artificial Intelligence Management Systems Standard
During the meeting, the following proposals were expressed by TURKLAB:
Organizing platforms where opinions can be shared by holding consultation meetings or establishing working groups with CABs,
Adding the heading “Sustainability” to TÜRKAK scope extensions in addition to the fields of “Artificial Intelligence” and “Carbon Footprint,”
Emphasizing the importance of enabling certain documents—currently required to be obtained from abroad due to differing documentation requirements by country or region—to be made available domestically through efforts by TÜRKAK and the relevant Ministries.
