TURKLAB Holds First Board Meeting of the New Term
Following the 10th Ordinary General Assembly Meeting held on February 7, 2024, the newly elected Board of Directors and Audit Committee members convened for their first Board Meeting on February 21, 2024, in Istanbul.
During the meeting:
Board members for the 2024-2026 term introduced themselves.
Roles and responsibilities were assigned.
Outcomes of the General Assembly Meeting were reviewed.
It was decided that in the next meeting, a strategic plan and annual work plan would be established, along with goal metrics for each assigned role, to be evaluated in monthly meetings.
Key Focus Areas for the New Term
Strengthening relationships with industry stakeholders to expand TURKLAB’s membership portfolio.
Enhancing TURKLAB Academy’s training content, diversity, and accessibility to reach a broader sectoral and geographical audience.
Becoming a reference center for members in developing new testing methods.
Supporting members in green and digital transformation through trainings, workshops, and best practice sharing.
Organizing periodic events, including the Conformity Assessment Conference, webinars, and in-person gatherings to discuss industry developments and improvement needs.
Developing collaborations and joint projects with national and international umbrella organizations.
Promoting Türkiye as an international testing hub.
Engaging with public authorities and regulators to address sectoral issues based on Committee outputs.
Contributing to regulatory developments and supporting members in strengthening their international competitiveness.
