As TURKLAB Calibration and Testing Laboratories Association, we participated in the “Workshop on an Overview of the Conformity Assessment Sector in Türkiye,” held in Istanbul on 16–17 February 2026 within the scope of the “Technical Assistance for Product Safety in E-Commerce” Project, organized by the Conformity Assessment Bodies Association.
Throughout the workshop, stakeholders of the conformity assessment (CA) sector and representatives from the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, and the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change came together to conduct comprehensive evaluations on the current status of the sector, its priority needs, and areas for development.
The briefings delivered within the scope of the Product Safety in E-Commerce Project constituted an important agenda item for the conformity assessment sector. It is considered that the key outcomes of this significant workshop will contribute substantially to the conformity assessment ecosystem.
