Revision Work on the Balance Calibration Guide Document
According to the information obtained from EURAMET’s website, a new revision process has been initiated for the calibration guide document EURAMET CG-18 on non-automatic weighing instruments.
It is stated that the ongoing technical studies, in which the National Metrology Institute of our country is also participating, aim to address missing topics in the guide document (such as minimum sample weight), clarify certain aspects, and ensure harmonization in applications. Additionally, the guide document is expected to be made more practical and user-friendly.
As a result of these updates, the standardization of calibration processes will be enhanced, and the document will provide better guidance for laboratories and industrial applications.
