New VDI/VDE/DGQ 2618 Blatt 11.1 (E) Test Instructions for Mechanical Dial Gauges
The calibration guide document for dial gauges, VDI/VDE/DGQ 2618 Blatt 11.1, has been revised in accordance with the requirements of the EN ISO 463:2006 standard and was published as a German Draft in October 2010.
As part of the TKAG project, a method was defined in the Dial Gauge LAK study, organized by Simkal on behalf of TURKLAB, to ensure that measurements comply with the EN ISO 463 standard. It has been observed that the new VDI guide document incorporates a slightly improved version of this method.
In this regard, it is expected that laboratories that participated in the LAK study will be able to adapt easily to the new method. This information is presented for the attention of calibration laboratories.
