TURKLAB Sectoral Talks: “What is the Green Deal?“

On October 20, 2021, TURKLAB Academy hosted a technical discussion titled ""What is the Green Deal?"" with the participation of Dr. Nurşen Numanoğlu, Deputy Secretary General of TÜSİAD, responsible for Environment & Climate Change, Sectoral Policies, and Digital Transformation.

During the session, Dr. Numanoğlu provided insights into:

• The European Green Deal, a roadmap for the EU’s goal of becoming the first carbon-neutral continent by 2050.
• The EU’s strategies for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
• Funding opportunities allocated for sustainability initiatives.
• Implications for non-EU countries regarding the Green Deal policies.
